The main goal of the conference is to promote the most recent and innovative research
in the field of chemistry on issues situated at the fundamental-applied interface
to tackle global challenges such as environmental pollution, climate change, and resource depletion.
Galați is one of the oldest cities in Romania, a harbor located on the left bank of the Danube,
at the entrance to the Danube Delta. The first documentary evidence dates back to the 15th century,
but in antiquity, the Dacians and later the Romans established continuous habitation in this area,
notably through the Roman fort of Tirighina‑Bărboși. During the Middle Ages, Galați was the most
important harbor of the Principality of Moldavia.
We look forward to meeting you and sharing an excellent scientific experience!
